Jamia Nadwiyya Edavanna was established in 1964 by Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM), a registered society for the religious and socio-cultural development of the muslims in Kerala. With a student strength of 2500 during the academic year 2007-’08, JNE has grown into a large campus spread over 27 acres of land and sufficient infrastructural facilities. A rich blend of qualified and experienced academicians and researchers drawn from various disciplines handle the sessions for the students undergoing the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at JNE. The programmes equip the students with thorough knowledge of QurAn, Hadith, Literature, History and Culture of Muslims. Excellence and Innovation are the key concern while designing the curriculum.
